Lets include in our prayers: “Fair Sentencing for Youth Act” Senate Bill (SB) 399, which was proposed by Sen. Leland Yee and is being HUGELY supported by Human Rights Watch (www.hrw.org) In a nutshell, SB 399 is a second chance bill that will give CHILDREN sentenced to LIFE in prison WITHOUT the possibility of Parole, an opportunity to go before the parole board and indeed POSSIBLY have a second chance to return home.
